10. Global Sequences

BDR global sequences provide an easy way for applications to use the database to generate unique synthetic keys in an asynchronous distributed system.
Global sequences should be considered deprecated. See When to use global sequences and Global Sequence Limitations. Most deployments are better off using step/offset sequences as described
